Default SLS: I'm In Love!

The original 300SL Gullwing is my favorite car of all time. So, naturally I've been waiting impatiently for the new SLS to come out for quite some time now. Last week, I had the opportunity to work on one, and it is GORGEOUS!

Default SLS vs SLR

That's a tough choice. A slightly used SLR is about the same price as an SLS. The SLS started its life as a Viper. The SLR is a McLaren.

Maintenance costs clearly favor the SLS over the used SLR; seen what an SLR brake job costs? More Enzo than GT-R.

Didn't know SLS and Viper shared engineering (chasis, suspension, whatever); any tech. you have to show this? Very interesting....

Default Maybe you can switch out the brakes for some Wilwoods?

I'm sure it would be worth the price even if Wilwood had to custom make them. Just save the old brakes for the next owner.

The Viper SLS info can be found all over the web.

I'd take the SLR. I'm not really in love with the SLS.
