Well I am going to start the tuning process on my 370Z and I must say that I am excited. I think what I will do is post updates here (with pics) as the car undergoes certain changes.

I am not going to be radically changing the outward appearance (if at all). The brunt of the work will be in developing performance mods. Since not a whole lot is known or available yet for the 370, I have picked up some sponsors to develop various things which is great because I won't have to shell out tons of money!

First things first, the ECU will be shipped to Japan in order to get the re-flash diagnostics. Once that get's back then the tuning begins. Baseline dyno runs will be performed as well as dyno runs every step of the way as power parts go in. Numbers will be provided with 91 octane pump gas as well as racing fuel.

I have ordered a Jim Wolf Technologies dual POP charger intake system that has just been developed and that will probably go in first while an exhaust is being developed specific to my vehicle. A lightweight flywheel/clutch combo will soon follow as well as a four wheel brake upgrade. Then the fun begins as we develop a twin-turbo setup which doesn't yet exist. (The Infinity G37 is close to getting one, but it's not done yet). Both cars share the exact same engine so some bolt-on's have been in development for a bit of time now since that car came out well before the 370.

Anyway I have to thank TechnoSquare in Torrance, CA. for performing my upcoming work.

Stay tuned... (no pun intended :p )

As per tuning, I do a lot of work with Shawn Church at Church Automotive. I am certain he could tune that vehicle. He uses a dynapak dyno. He is one sharp cookie.

When you modify the exhaust let me know, I will want to record that car. The louder the better!
