The Automobile Driving Museum hosted The Chevy Tri-Five Collector Car Show on January 14th. The show was a huge success. Tri-Five owners from all over Southern California turned up to share their classics with the community and each other. Over 100 cars on display, just about every model and variation of the Tri-Fives were on display. From perfectly restored “stock cars” to race cars to the latest “pro-touring” car with modern engines and transmissions, it was the total spectrum of classic Americana at its finest. The ADM was a great host and pulled off a great event. Coffee, donuts and snacks were offered to the attendees, the museum was a huge hit to all and the ADM also offered trophies for the different classes. The best of the best were picked and it was stiff competition. A great day was had by all.
About the museum:
The ADM collection of over 130 vehicles is broad and diverse; it includes cars from the earliest days of self-propelled vehicles, through examples of muscle cars. The collection includes cars owned by such celebrities as Howard Hughes, Jean Peters, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Anthony Davis.
The Museum features a historical line up of cars and marques from the 20’s and 30’s many of which no longer are produced such as Packard, Durant, Saxon and more.
The fleet is fueled and ready to go! Each Sunday we select three cars and provide rides for our guests. You can get up close and personal with our cars, and our dedicated and informed docents are available for tours on the weekends.
