June 2009: Issue 1

Letter from the Editor

Dear friends, in this economy it is safe to say that we are all hurting. The best thing we car guys can do is: STICK TOGETHER! How do we do this? Simple! Many of us own businesses or have products and services that we all use. What we need to do is to refer business to each other. Yes, I know it sounds like a marketing group, but it is much simpler than that:

Keep it in the COMMUNITY

In an effort to support other enthusiasts and keep us all in our cars and houses, please consider using a "car guy" for all of your service needs. This page is going to grow quickly and we hope that you contact us about putting your business on our list.

Jay Leno and His Jet Powered EcoJet Make a Special Stop for Coffee

Car guys are used to hearing the sounds of roaring American muscle and high-strung Italian exotics. But on May 31st everyone was treated to one of the most unique cars to ever set tire in the parking lot and it was piloted by one of the most well-known car enthusiasts in the world.

A Car Enthusiast's Memorial Day

When most people think of Memorial Day celebrations images of flags, hot dogs, and cold drinks are what come to mind. But for automotive enthusiasts, celebrations tend to include things like Ferraris, canyon driving, and horsepower. And that is exactly how a group of petrol heads from the Drivenworld.com and Ferrarichat.com forums celebrated this year. Arriving to the morning meet-up spot, I was greeted with an amazing gathering of cars from what is probably one of the most diverse groups of enthusiasts out there.
